How Does it Work?
When performing the laser treatment, a layer of carbon paste is applied to the skin and allowed to dry and draw out any impurities. This is left on for approximately 15 minutes. Then, a Q-Switch Nd YAG laser is used to heat and cause an implosion of the carbon particles, the laser light is absorbed by the carbon paste focusing the laser energy on the epidermis. As the laser moves across the skin the carbon paste is gently vacuumed up, exfoliating the skin and removing any debris from the pores. The treatment minimises pore sizes and the thermal effect of the laser beam stimulates collagen renewal. After the laser work, your skin will feel tight so a cooling collagen mask will be applied and left on for 10 minutes. These are enriched with collagen, vitamin E, green tea and papaya extracts, which help to restore moisture and elasticity back into your skin.
